Lights, Camera, Action! - Vanessa Ortiz

Hello there!! Another week is about to end and it's almost the end of my third week here at ETV. One thing I realized in these past three weeks is that you always learn something new every day. It doesn't matter if it is not related to broadcasting or production, you can always learn new different things and that is what make us go forward.

Editing my first video :)

This week I've been pretty much working on my first video for the SCETV Facebook page which is already up on the web (yes my first video is up). You can see it here if you want:

The series is going to be called "Inside ETV" and I'll be showing the different departments and interviewing the staff. I have to say that I learned a lot editing this video. I had to put all the pieces together and since I record the audio separately I also had to match the audio with the video (this gets a little bit tricky).  Sometimes the editing process can be long because you need to make sure everything has a smooth transition and fits perfectly. Glenn Rawls is helping me with the video and checking my work. He already gave me really good suggestions and tips for my next videos. I'm planning on making a video every week or two so GET READY!!

Lights, Camera, Action!

This internship is giving me so many opportunities to create my own videos and also being able to participate in so many different things such as writing articles and helping in productions. They have been a good first three weeks and I can't wait to find out what the next seven weeks have in store for me.

Quote of the Day:
"Let your dreams be bigger than your fears and your actions louder than your words"

See you next time!
All the love. xx
Vanessa
