| Making It Grow Endowment Intern 2015 |
My name is Jessica Hunter and I'm ETV's Making it Grow Endowment Intern. I am a rising senior at Claflin University. I'm studying Mass Communications while minoring in Business Management. I am so grateful for the opportunity that ETV Endowment has given me. I feel so honored and blessed to withhold this position. I plan to embrace the tasks that I may find challenging and work hard to maintain ETV’s Professional Standard. My first week here was a tremendous experience. The Making it Grow team gave me hands on experience with the equipment and taught me various editing styles. My Producer Sean and Videographer Tommy, made my first few weeks fun and creative. They gave me a tour around the station and showed me where everything was located and how to access them. They gave me my own office computer and editing room. There's nothing like having the opportunity to spend endless hours in the lab editing videos, taking road trips with producers and videographers to shoot and produce videos as well as sitting behind the scenes of the show going live every Tuesday night at 7pm. One thing I love about my Making it Grow family, is that we all help each other out and wear many hats around the station. My first day here, Sean allowed me to practice editing on various video segments and aired them the next day on the show. My friends and family was excited to watch the show and see my name in the credits. The thrill excites me and as previously stated, I am so blessed to be here and look forward to SC Making It Grow.
